PureWow Pick for the Best Celebrity Pregnancy Announcement: Keke Palmer

No shade to Beyoncé or Cardi B, but Keke Palmer recently pulled off one of the most epic pregnancy reveals. You'll know what I'm talking about if you tuned into the most recent episode of Saturday Night Live, where the Nope star confirmed pregnancy rumors by revealing her baby bump live on the show. Ending the big announcement on a comedic note, the former child actress said, “Look, I’m 29, I'm grown, I have sex, I own a home, I stormed the Capitol on January 6, you know? Things adults do.” *Mic drop* — Nakeisha Campbell, PureWow’s Associate Editor of Entertainment & News

PureWow Pick for Most Nostalgic Throwback: Kenan and Kel Reunite on SNL

Awww, here it goes! The iconic comedy duo Kenan and Kel reunited on Saturday Night Live and recreated a skit from their beloved Nickelodeon comedy series, Kenan & Kel. In classic reboot fashion, Kenan returns to Rigby’s, but he is joined by another trustworthy side kick: Keke Palmer. And we can say that our inner child is living for this moment. PureWow Pick for the Most Heartwarming New Holiday Movie: The Noel Diary

While the film may sound like every other cheesy holiday movie, it’s not. It explores deep themes—like grief and adoption—in a heartfelt way. And unlike other Hallmark-style movies, the plot is unique and unpredictable. The story follows a famous author (played by This Is Us star Justin Hartley) who’s shocked to learn that his estranged mother has passed away. And now, he’s tasked with clearing out his childhood home and sorting through her belongings. When he crosses paths with a girl from his past, they embark on a journey of self-discovery. *Grabs tissue* — Greta Heggeness, PureWow’s Senior Editor of News & Entertainment

PureWow Pick for Most Exciting Musical Comeback: SZA

SZA changed the world of R&B with her debut album Ctrl (2017), crafting confessional anthems that quickly garnered her a devoted fanbase. And ever since that release, fans have been hungry for more, only getting more anxious as SZA dropped singles like “Good Days” and “I Hate U” throughout the past couple years. Now, we're finally getting the sophomore album we've been waiting for—titled S.O.S. (and the cover features an homage to a famous Princess Diana photo). When SZA performed as the musical guest on SNL this past weekend, a backdrop lit up behind her, revealing the release date of the album: 12/9. And once Friday rolls around, you can bet that we'll be streaming these long-awaited songs all December long. — Joel Calfee, Assistant Editor of News & Entertainment
