The Netflix series Never Have I Ever has shot to the top of the streaming service’s top-rated charts, and we can totally see why.
Season four just premiered on Netflix yesterday. Since its release, Never Have I Ever has already claimed the number one spot on the list of top-rated shows. (It’s currently ranked ahead of Manifest, Arnold, FUBAR, All American and The Ultimatum: Queer Love.)
So, what is Never Have I Ever about? Season one introduces viewers to Devi Vishwakumar (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan), an Indian-American teenager who’s determined to climb up the social ladder at school.
Seasons two and three explore Devi’s complicated relationships with Ben (Jaren Lewison) and Paxton (Darren Barnet). We won’t give too much away, but let’s just say the love triangle leads to hilarious results. In the fourth—and final—season, Devi faces an all-new chapter: graduation.
Never Have I Ever was created by Mindy Kaling (The Mindy Project) and Lang Fisher (Brooklyn Nine-Nine). In addition to Ramakrishnan, Barnet and Lewison, the show stars Poorna Jagannathan (Nalini), Richa Moorjani (Kamala), Lee Rodriguez (Fabiola), Ramona Young (Eleanor), Michael Cimino (Ethan), Megan Suri (Aneesa), Lee Rodriguez (Fabiola), Benjamin Norris (Trent) and Lily D. Moore (Rebecca).
