Netflix Drops Trailer for Must-See Comedy ‘Murderville’ Featuring This ‘Schitt’s Creek’ Star

This brand-new Netflix show is nothing like we’ve ever seen before.

The streaming service just dropped the first official trailer for Murderville, which stars Will Arnett putting your favorite celebrities to the test.

Each episode, Senior Detective Terry Seattle (Arnett) enlists a different celeb—such as Schitt’s Creek star Annie Murphy (aka Alexis Rose)—to help him solve a mysterious crime. But there’s a catch: The guests aren’t given any information beforehand, so they must improvise their way through the story, no matter what’s thrown at them.

In the clip, Arnett is examining a crime scene alongside Ken Jeong (Community). “Tough time imagining it with just the outline,” he says before turning to Jeong. “Ken, get in the position and slowly be dying, too.”

While Jeong is moaning on the floor, Arnett adds, “You’ve got to keep track of the evidence. You’ve got a notepad?”

The trailer features several different scenarios and celebs—including Murphy, who is “ready to solve a crime.”

Other guest stars include Conan O’Brien (Conan), Kumail Nanjiani (Silicon Valley), Sharon Stone (Casino), Haneefah Wood (Truth Be Told), Lilan Bowden (Andi Mack), Phillip Smithey (Johnson) and former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch.

The show’s official description reads, “They have no idea what’s about to happen to them. Together, the guest star and Terry Seattle will have to improvise their way through the case, but it will be up to each celebrity guest alone to name the killer.”

Murderville (which is based on the BBC3 series Murder in Successville) will hit Netflix on February 3.
