It’s not often a show actually gets me to physically react out loud. I’m talking real life laughing out loud, the occasional tear, and yes, even yelling at the screen when a character does something unhinged. But Peacock’s new crime drama M.I.A. had me doing exactly that, more specifically the yelling part.
In case you missed it, M.I.A. dropped on Peacock on May 7. The show centers on Etta Tiger Jonze, a young woman secretly plotting revenge on the 12 gangsters responsible for the murder of her family.
