Awards show fans expect to see the happy faces of grinning celebs holding their trophies for everything from TV shows to documentaries and blockbuster films. (And fashion followers love seeing designer trends on the red carpet.) On January 7, Golden Globes viewers should know that even the also-rans have good reason to smile, since they'll be lugging home a gift bag—strike that, it's really a box—of goods and services worth up to $500,000. Organized by luxury magazine Robb Report, the gift bundle includes fancy food, international travel and more.

Along with caviar, liquor, wine and beauty treatments (including a face oil made with diamonds), there’s also a $2,500 session with a celebrity tattoo artist, a $600 Metier Marrakech brown suede bag and $200 custom Crasqi swim trunks. That's not to mention the dazzling array of trips on offer:

  • A $15,000 stay at the Four Seasons Punta Mita, one of Mexico’s most opulent resorts
  • A five-day luxury yacht voyage through Indonesian waters valued at $50,000
  • An all-inclusive New Zealand stay for two worth $15,000
  • A two-night stay in France worth $2,2000
  • A $20,000 trip to the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman
  • Membership in XO Jet (that’s a private jet charter) with $10,000 worth of flight credits

All this loot goes to winners and presenters, and arguably has a more lasting impact than just creative types getting free stuff. That’s because Robb Report is auctioning off multiple “Ultimate Gift Box” sets, along with what the organization calls a “special Golden Globes experience” to benefit the Golden Globes Foundation. That’s the group that supports arts, education, journalism, humanitarian projects and non-profit organizations dedicated to empowering underrepresented communities within the entertainment industry. This is worth calling out because industry types are closely watching all do-gooder moves as possible amends for the recent Golden Globes controversy.
