1. Who Is Ali Wentworth?

Alexandra “Ali” Wentworth is an American actress, writer, comedian and producer. She was born on January 12, 1965 in Washington, District of Columbia. After high school, she attended New York University and Columbia University (impressive).

2. What Has She Been In?

Wentworth is probably best known for her roles in Jerry Maguire (1996), It's Complicated (2009) and Nightcap (2016).

She debuted as a cast member on the Fox sketch comedy series In Living Color from 1992 to 1994, where she became known for her impressions. During her stint on the series, Wentworth landed a role as Jerry's love interest in a 1995 episode of Seinfeld called The Soup Nazi.

In 2012, Wentworth published her first book, The WASP Cookbook. The book is a collection of 90 recipes (including 11 cocktails) and, per her official website, details some of her best family recipes, “spiced up with a humorous commentary on life.” In February 2012, she released Ali in Wonderland, a collection of funny stories about her life, followed by Happily Ali After in 2015. In 2018, she dropped her fourth book, Go Ask Ali: Half-Baked Advice (and Free Lemonade), a continuation of her series. Oh, and she has another book coming out in 2022.

3. Is She Married?

She sure is. And she even has two kids.

Wentworth is married to Good Morning America co-anchor George Stephanopoulos. The duo tied the knot in 2001 and have two daughters together—Elliott, 19, and Harper, 16. While she tends to steer clear of posting her family on social media (although we do get a good throwback of her and her hubby now and again), the actress is very open about her marriage. In fact, she recently revealed that she’s smarter then her husband and children combined.

“I’m one of the most beautiful women in the world and considered a top sex symbol in four countries,” the 56-year-old quipped at Michael J. Fox Foundation’s annual gala, per Page Six. “I’m actually smarter than George and my children put together. In fact, George didn’t know where the Middle East was until I pointed it out on a map.…I pretend I’m the silly, blond, crazy wife, but I’m the brains behind the whole operation.”

We can totally see it.
