12. Princess Eugenie

Princess Eugenie worked closely with Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos to design a dress that not only paid homage to Princess Diana and Kate Middleton, but that also made a bold statement about beauty norms. For her 2018 wedding to Jack Brooksbank, the royal opted for a corseted bodice and a low back that revealed her scoliosis scar.

In a recorded statement, she revealed, "I had always wanted a low back—part of it was showing my scar, and I believe scars tell a story about your past and your future, and it's a way of getting rid of a taboo. For me, it's a way of communicating with people who are going through either similar situations with scoliosis or having a scar of their own that they are trying to deal with."

13. Princess Beatrice

Princess Beatrice tied the knot with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in 2020 while wearing a gorgeous vintage gown that she borrowed from her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. Made of ivory peau de soie taffeta, the dress was originally designed by Sir Norman Hartnell, but it was remodeled for the princess by Angela Kelly and Stewart Parvin. 14. Serena Williams

When she married Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian in 2017, Williams looked like she stepped out of a fairytale in her dreamy Alexander McQueen gown, designed by Sarah Burton. I have loved the house and its incredible team for years so it only seemed right for Chloé to play a big part in this special day.”

The lace bodice is embroidered with pearl detailing over an organza and tulle underskirt, which has layer upon layer to enable a floor-sweeping movement. It’s a privilege to show the craftsmanship that my team produces in London and a real testament to Pippa’s support of British fashion.”

24. Kim Kardashian

FYI, the train was inspired by Botticelli's 1482 painting of Primavera.

38. Michelle Obama

The former First Lady stunned in a white off-the-shoulder dress with matching pumps when she married Barack Obama back in 1992. While celebrating their 25th anniversary, she wrote on Instagram, “You can’t tell it from this photo, but Barack woke up on our wedding day in October 1992 with a nasty head cold. Somehow, by the time I met him at the altar, it had miraculously disappeared, and we ended up dancing almost all night. Twenty-five years later, we’re still having fun, while also doing the hard work to build our partnership and support each other as individuals. I can’t imagine going on this wild ride with anybody else.”

That train! That veil! It’s (almost) too much to handle. When the pop diva married former record producer Tommy Mottola in 1993, she pulled a Princess Diana with her extravagant wedding attire, which included a ten-foot veil and a 27-foot train. The Vera Wang gown cost an estimated $25,000, while the ceremony itself cost a whopping $500,000. Sounds fit for royalty.
