If you can’t get yourself to like seafood, we have just the recipe to change your mind. Presenting hash brown fish, a crispy, savory marriage of a breakfast classic and tender fish fillets by Michelle Tam, author of Nom Nom Paleo Let’s Go!.
Not only does it come together in less than 30 minutes, but this recipe is also loaded with healthy fats, lean protein and omega-3s (which can lower blood pressure, reduce your risk of stroke and heart disease and boost brain health, BTW). Despite its nutritional perks, this seafood dish still feels undeniably indulgent, thanks to the impossibly crunchy layer of shredded potatoes that coats the fish.
Seasoning the fish with the umami stir fry powder is optional, but if you have a spare ten minutes to prepare it, it’ll make a massive difference in the flavor department. Mushroom powder, dehydrated scallions, garlic, onion and ginger are bound to blow regular old salt away.
