Who's the ‘Stranger’ Who Shot Hiram on ‘Riverdale’? It's Not Who You Think

Last night’s episode of Riverdale left us with one burning question: Who shot J.R. Hiram Lodge (Mark Consuelos)?

While Veronica (Camila Mendes) immediately pointed her finger at Archie (K.J. Apa), we think the trigger was pulled by a new—albeit familiar—face: Kelly Ripa (aka Mrs. Mulwray).

You see, the actress, 48, is making her debut on Riverdale this season. Although we haven’t been introduced to her character (yet), the evidence is right in front of us.

First, the CW previously revealed that Ripa will portray Hiram’s mistress. (Strike one.) 

And second, the season three trailer showed her character pointing a gun at Jughead (Cole Sprouse), so we wouldn’t put it past her. (Strike two.)

We’re on to you, Ripa. Riverdale returns next Wednesday, January 30, on the CW.
