He's a veteran actor

The White Lotus season three has taken its final bow, with a season finale that finally put the many, many theories to rest. I won't spoil it for you here if you haven't had the chance to watch it yet but I will say that after a season of having this star-studded cast on my screen every week, it started to dawn on me that I've seen a lot of them before.

From Leslie Bibb to Carrie Coon, Aimee Lou Wood to Sarah Catherine Hook to Sam Nivola, they're all faces I've seen before. But there was one there was one actor who I just couldn't put my finger on: Walton Goggins aka Rick. Thankfully it only took a quick Google search to help scratch that itch and turns out he's been involved in quite a few projects to the point where it would be weird if I didn't recognize him.

For starters, he's in another Emmy-nominated HBO Show, The Righteous Gemstones. But if you didn't recognize him in this series it actually makes a lot of sense because Goggins is rocking blonde hair in this role. In the series he portrays Baby Billy Freeman, a habitual liar and a washed up child star turned gospel song-and-dance double act with his sister.

And that's just his most recent work. Goggins has been in the industry for well over 30 years, with one of his longest roles being on the crime drama The Shield as Detective Shane Vendrell, which ran for seven seasons from 2022 until 2008.

He's also appeared in Ant-Man and the Wasp, Maze Runner: The Death Cure, Prime Video's Fallout, in addition to a few episodes of Sons of Anarchy and The Big Bang Theory, and that's just naming a few.

So, if you're anything like me and was wracking your brain to to figure out why that face looked so familiar, there you have it. You're welcome.
