Tracee Ellis Ross Shares Oscars Throwback with Mom Diana Ross on Instagram

In honor of the 94th Academy Awards, Tracee Ellis Ross decided to take us back to her first time at the prestigious awards show and shared an iconic throwback with her mother, Diana Ross.

On Instagram, the Black-ish star shared an old snapshot of herself attending the 1990 Oscars with her mom and two sisters, Rhonda and Chudney. The 49-year-old actress rocked a Moschino “Olive Oyl” dress and ALAÏA shoes to the awards ceremony. She accessorized the look with silver stud earrings and a gold bangle bracelet.

Meanwhile, her mother donned a sheer black dress with a diamond-encrusted necklace. On her arm, she carried a black clutch purse with a pink shawl draped across her wrist. The actress and singer tied the look together with heart-shaped earrings.

This is not the first time Tracee has shared a throwback post with her mother. Back in January, the Girlfriends alum shared a video of herself walking her first runway show, walking hand-and-hand with Diana. She posted the clip to honor the French fashion designer, Thierry Mugler, who passed away.

In the video, the mother-daughter duo rocked black leather ensembles. The next clip showed Tracee walking solo the following year. During this show, she donned a sheer black dress with a red and gold pants combo.

The caption read, “I had the honor of walking for @muglerofficial twice: 1991 & 1992. When I was 18, then 19 years old. I desperately wanted to be a model. But, Super Model-dom was way out of my reach until my mother got a phone call from the incredible @manfredthierrymugler. My mother agreed to walk in the show as long as they allowed me to model in the show as well.”

Keep the throwback posts coming, Tracee.
