After seven successful seasons, the hit ABC series Black-ish is coming to a close this winter with its eighth and final season.
While we're still grappling with this information, we got even more emotional thanks to a new video shared by star Tracee Ellis Ross (aka Dr. Rainbow "Bow" Johnson). In the clip, Ross (in usual fashion) makes jokes with her cast members behind the scenes, while they film their final scene together as the Johnson family.
After talking with fellow actors Marcus Scribner, Miles Brown and Marsai Martin, Ross pretends to cry and then she pans the camera to co-star Anthony Anderson, who makes a fake frown and says, “It's so sad.” Ross laughs and says, “Oh Anthony's such a bad actor.”
But although Ross was playful in the video, she got more serious in her caption, where she said, “We filmed the series finale of @blackishabc this week. Our last episode ever. And this is the last scene we shot in the Johnson house as a family. To say it’s been an emotional week would be a huge understatement.”
