Tracee Ellis Ross Posts Rare Throwback Footage of Mom Diana Ross on IG

Diana Ross is releasing new music for the first time in 15 years, and no one is more excited about it than her daughter, Tracee Ellis Ross.

The 48-year old entrepreneur and actress showed her support on Instagram by posting throwback footage of her mom and it's giving us all the nostalgia. Just a day before the song's release, she wrote, "New music from my mama @dianaross! Out tomorrow! #dianarossthankyou."

Diana also shared the montage on her personal Instagram page and announced, "My new album ‘Thank You’ will be released on September 10th. This collection of songs is my gift to you with appreciation and love. I am eternally grateful that I had the opportunity to record this glorious music at this time."

The iconic songstress has been teasing her new album since February, when she revealed to fans that she had already completed 14 new songs. In the caption, she added, "I will always continue singing."

Hundreds of fans showed their love and support, including one commenter who wrote, "You are truly a legend! I love your style and your music, beautiful!"

Diana shared a snippet of the title track, which is giving us '80s vibes, and it's safe to say that fans are already obsessed. One user said, "INNN LOVEEE, I LOVE LOVE IT." Another fan gushed, "This song is EVERYTHING!! I can’t wait for the album."

The single comes after the release of her 2006 album, "I Love You." Her full album will be released by Decca Records and will include collaborations with Jimmy Napes, Jack Antonoff, Tayla Parx and more.

Judging by this catchy tune, we get the feeling Diana's new album will be on repeat for the rest of the year.
