When people retire, they often find themselves wondering how to fill all the extra time on their hands. But Serena Williams is a shining example that retirement doesn’t mean slowing down. The tennis superstar has plenty to keep her busy—whether it’s her makeup line, Wyn Beauty, clothing collaborations or investments. And, of course, she makes time for family.

In her latest Instagram post, Williams gave fans a sweet glimpse into her home life. The tennis legend, who shares two daughters—Olympia, 7, and Adira, 1—with husband Alexis Ohanian, posted an adorable video of herself and Olympia in the kitchen. In the clip, Williams was teaching Olympia how to make gumbo.

Viewers can see Serena's mini chopping vegetables and stirring the roux while mom moves through the different stages of making the dish. The video was set to “Soulful Strut” by The Fame Gang, adding a fun soundtrack to the bonding moment.

But it wasn’t just the precious family moment that caught my attention—Williams also revealed a fun personal tidbit in the caption that she suspects a lot of people may not have know.

“Bet you didn’t know I love cooking,” she revealed. “Here is me teaching @olympiaohanian my gumbo recipe.”

This isn’t the first time Williams has shared something fun and personal with her followers.

Last month, she wowed in a hot pink Off-White gown at a Breast Cancer Research Foundation luncheon. While the striking dress turned heads, it was, again, the caption that revealed a personal detail about the tennis champion.

“As much as I love blue – did you know pink is my favorite color?” she wrote.

It looks like there’s always something new to learn about Serena.
