Reese Witherspoon isn’t afraid to admit that she decorates for the holidays way too early.
Earlier this month, the Morning Show star offered a glimpse of her Christmas tree that’s so stunning, it made its debut on December 1. Witherspoon posted an Instagram photo of herself posing in front of the fully decorated shrub.
The actress is wearing a cream-colored sweater that complements the tree’s simple décor. It’s adorned with white and red ornaments, a large bow topper and a matching plaid tree skirt.
It’s important to note that the tree is likely fake. (Don’t shoot the messenger.) Not only does it look far too perfect, but it also features an even coating of flock that’s hard to achieve with real plants. Plus, there are no needles or fallen flock on the floor.
Since the photo was originally shared in early December, Witherspoon added humor to the caption, writing, “Too soon? [Christmas tree emoji] [laughing emoji].” Luckily, countless celebrities confirmed that it’s never too early to decorate for the holidays.
Octavia Spencer wrote, “Nope!!!!” Mindy Kaling added, “Never. Wreath Witherspoon lives!!” Even the Queen of Christmas (aka Mariah Carey) chimed in: “Nah, you’re good [pink heart emoji].”
We wouldn’t be surprised if Witherspoon keeps her tree up year-round.
