Princess Eugenie Totally Channeled Blair Waldorf in This Fresh & Fun Tweed Dress (Which Just Happens to Be on Sale)

Hey, Upper East Siders: Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank marked a royal first today. And Eugenie took a cue from Queen B (Blair Waldorf that is) to memorialize the occasion with an on-trend outfit.

The couple, who got married last October at Windsor Castle, stepped out for their first official royal engagement today at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital alongside Eugenie’s father, Prince Andrew, to celebrate the opening of the Stanmore Building.

And with such a meaningful occasion, came a very special (and very Waldorfian) ensemble.

The 28-year-old Princess of York nailed the classic yet modern look in a fitted long-sleeved winter white dress. Although the frock puts out some major Chanel vibes, it’s actually the Maje “Ryzer Tweed Skater” dress. And, get this: It’s somehow still available and on sale for $445 at Nordstrom. The dress features delicate gold buttons and a ’60s-esque silhouette with raw edges to make the tweed feel fresh and not at all stuffy.

The new Mrs. Brooksbank kept her hair smoothed back with a black leather headband (similar option, $22) and opted for black stilettos (similar, $665) to pull the outfit together.  She paired the look with a navy blue on-trend Chloe “Nile” leather bracelet bag that’s also on sale for a cool $1,512.  (See, navy and black do match.)

But Princess Eugenie’s chic outfit wasn’t her only win of the day. She was also named patron of the RNOH charity, which is a cause very close to her heart.

Eugenie reflected on the honor and the scoliosis surgery she underwent at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital at the age of 12 during a brief speech. “It is such an honor to be here today, I feel like my bones and my blood are a part of this building,” she mused. “I learnt on this visit today that we all share in something with this building because we care. Today I’m delighted to say that I’m now Patron of the RNOH charity.”

Royal firsts, new patronages and an outfit that’s both Gan-Gan Queen Elizabeth-approved and trendy? Brava, Eugenie.
