Princess Eugenie Just Gave Us a Sneak Peek at Her Childhood Home—& Check Out that Landscaping

Sarah Ferguson is keeping her promise to invite special guests on her new Youtube show. Over the weekend, she even enlisted her daughter, Princess Eugenie, to make an appearance.

ICYMI: Queen Elizabeth’s daughter-in-law recently launched her new project, “Storytime With Fergie and Friends,” on her YouTube channel. In an introductory episode, she explained that every day during the U.K. coronavirus lockdown, she’ll be reading a traditional children’s book for “all of the children out there who just need a little bit of magic.”

And in the latest episode, the 30-year-old Princess of York reads her “favorite book” Guess How Much I Love You by Sam McBratney while swinging in her yard. And though the clip of the royal reading the children’s book was sweet and all, we couldn’t help but be distracted by her foliage-filled surroundings.

By the looks of the garden (and the fact that the swing has her name written on it), we believe the video was taken on the grounds of Eugenie's childhood home, Royal Lodge. And considering that’s where her mother has been self-isolating, we’d call that a pretty safe guess. Although we’ve only seen small glimpses of the property (through a large bank of windows) in Fergie’s previous videos, we could spot that perfectly-manicured lawn anywhere.

Just call us the royal backyard detectives.
