Sarah Ferguson Just Gave Us a Rare Peek Inside Her Home—& Look at All that Natural Light

Sarah Ferguson is next to join the list of royals giving their followers a sneak peek into their private homes.

On Wednesday, Queen Elizabeth’s daughter-in-law launched her new project, “Storytime With Fergie and Friends,” on her YouTube channel. In an introduction video, she explained that every day during the U.K. coronavirus lockdown, she’ll be reading a traditional children’s book for “all of the children out there who just need a little bit of magic.”

And while the clip of the 60-year-old royal reading Hairy Maclary from Donaldson’s Dairy by Lynley Dodd was quite sweet, we couldn’t help but notice her surroundings, specifically the large bank of windows letting in all of that natural light. (We’re also not surprised that her lawn is perfectly-manicured).

In front of the Duchess of York was a large vase holding a candle and to her right were two chairs covered in white patterned fabric. We’re not sure which room of her house she’s in exactly, but we’re definitely getting a very warm and homey vibe.

In another video from the series, which she shared a photo from on her personal Instagram page, Fergie is seated in what looks to be a living room with a wood shelf full of tchotchkes behind her right shoulder. And again, there’s even more natural light.

We also recently got a glimpse of the mother of two in her kitchen, while she was doing the dishes and mopping the floor. The photos, which showcased wooden cabinets and a stone multicolored backsplash of some sort, were posted to Instagram by Ferguson’s assistant, Antonia Marshall.

And since a new story time video will go live at 11 a.m. EST each weekday, we’re hoping to get a glimpse of every room at some point during this quarantine.
