From Meghan Markle to Kate Middleton, All the Royals Who Have Recently Given Fans a Look Inside Their Homes

During these uncertain times, members of the royal family are doing their part and continuing to self-isolate and practice social distancing. Lucky for us, in doing so, many of them have given us a glimpse into the private estates.

Here, six royals who have shared a little piece of their homes with followers via social media and Zoom.

1. Prince Charles

In a video message filmed in his Scottish home earlier this month, the 71-year-old opened up about his recent experience with his positive COVID-19 diagnosis. And while the video in itself was touching, we couldn’t help but notice the details of the prince’s home office. If you look close enough, you can even see a small piece of a photograph of Prince George on display right behind Charles’s right shoulder.

2. Kate Middleton & Prince William

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge recently conducted a video chat with the children of medical professionals who are helping battle COVID-19. The call offered a behind-the-scenes look inside the duke and duchess’s home, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk (where they are said to be social distancing, though they have yet to confirm). The home features a simple aesthetic, including neutral colors such as beige, cream and white. Not to mention, a few weeks ago, they also showed off their offices at Kensington Palace.

3. Meghan Markle & Prince Harry

Over the weekend, the Duke of Sussex teamed up with WellChild, an organization for which he is a patron, to virtually talk with parents who are currently caring for seriously ill children. And although we can’t see too much of where Harry is video chatting from, we can assume (thanks to stay-at-home orders) it is the house where he and Meghan Markle are currently residing in Los Angeles. What we can see from the clip is a beige wall and a wooden cabinet with some sort of white appliance (maybe a printer?). Either way, we’re getting some serious neutral vibes.

4. Sarah Ferguson

This week, Queen Elizabeth’s daughter-in-law launched her new project, “Storytime With Fergie and Friends,” on her YouTube channel. While watching the introduction video, we couldn’t help but notice her surroundings, specifically the large bank of windows letting in all of that natural light. (We’re also not surprised that her lawn is perfectly-manicured). We also got a small glimpse of a few other rooms, such as a living room and kitchen.

5. Camilla Parker Bowles

Clarence House shared a photo of the 72-year-old Duchess of Cornwall working from her surprisingly cozy home office at the Scottish estate she shares with her husband, Prince Charles, which sits on the Balmoral Castle land. There are several interesting things can be spotted in the photo, such as the three portraits of dogs (one of a Schnauzer is actually painted), several black-and-white photos from her childhood, some of her grandchildren and what appears to be one from her wedding day.

6. Queen Elizabeth

The 93-year-old made a special speech to the public earlier this month, regarding the current coronavirus pandemic. The broadcast, which was recorded at the queen’s weekend home, Windsor Castle, where Her Majesty and Prince Philip are currently self-isolating, gave all 24 million viewers a tiny (emphasis on tiny) look into the royal home. Specifically, we got a glimpse of a potted plant, a brown wood table and some beige walls with gold accents.
