As if Princess Charlotte’s surprise outing (complete with adorable outfit and equally adorable expressions) at the Wimbledon final this weekend weren't enough, the 10-year-old also busted out her signature move. The move in question? None other than her tried-and-true “Charlotte Wave,” which she has been spotted doing on many different occasions throughout the years. Princess Charlotte has displayed her iconic wave in front of crowds and cameras since she was a toddler, and this weekend at Wimbledon was no different.

After the festivities, the official Prince and Princess of Wales's Instagram account posted a series of photos from the event, the first of which showed Princess Charlotte waving to onlookers as she walked alongside her mom, dad and brother. The royal looked adorable, wearing a white and black ruffled maxi dress with white ballet flats and her hair in two French braids. Kate, William and Prince George looked spiffy as well, with the Princess of Wales opting for a blue dress and Celia pumps from Ralph Lauren Collection. Prince William wore a navy blue cashmere blazer from Ralph Lauren, which he paired with beige chinos, and Prince George looked spiffy in a dark blue 3-piece suit.
The photos were captioned, “A pleasure to be back in SW19 for the finals of this year’s @wimbledon Championships this weekend. Congratulations again to @iga.swiatek and @janniksin on your wins! And a huge thank you to everybody involved in making the tournament so special.” This isn’t the first time Princess Charlotte has made headlines for her signature wave.

For the final day of last year’s Wimbledon championship, she was spotted waving to the crowd alongside her mother as the two were photographed crossing the bridge as they departed from Centre Court.

This followed her wave making a comeback at the 2024 Trooping the Colour, where she was captured on camera smiling and waving out the carriage window at well-wishers as she rode in the Glass Coach carriage alongside her mom and two brothers.
