Did Prince Louis Get His Penchant for Funny Faces from Dad Prince William? See Them Side-by-Side at 5 Years Old

Prince Louis is becoming one of our favorite young royals, thanks to his silly facial expressions that have been stealing the show. But did the 5-year-old get his penchant for funny faces from his dad, Prince William?

We recently stumbled upon photos of Prince William at age 5, and we immediately noticed the resemblance to Prince Louis.

For example, the below photo shows Prince William in a carriage with his mom, Princess Diana, and the Queen Mother. He was just shy of 5 years old at the time. It’s next to a photo of Prince Louis, also days shy of 5, at Easter Sunday service earlier this month.

Here’s another angle for good measure.

After a little more digging, we found this photo of Prince William at age 5 on the steps of Marivent Palace in Majorca. When compared to this balcony pic of Prince Louis, it’s hard to deny the similarities.

So, did Prince Louis inherit his penchant for silly faces from his dad? Based on these photos, it seems likely.

As the heir to the throne, Prince William has learned to compose himself over time (in public at least). But perhaps Prince Louis is taking after his uncle, Prince Harry, as the silly member of the royal family.
