Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Invited This Celeb and His Kids Over for a Playdate

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have got quite the impressive number of celebrities in their inner circle, with their Montecito neighborhood alone including Oprah Winfrey, as well as Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry. And while we've heard about their relationship with these high-profile figures, it turns out that they've coordinated playdates with some major celebs too.

In a new interview with The Sun, James Corden revealed that the couple invited him, his wife Julia Carey and their three kids over for a playdate. The topic came up when the host of The Late Late Show was asked if he had ever been to the home of the Sussexes. “I have,” Corden said in response. “It was more a sort of play date scenario [with the kids]. Then we went out for dinner after, it was lovely. Obviously, I'm not telling you anymore. Obviously.”

However, Corden did add that his experiences with the couple have been “nothing but positive.” While he noted that he knows Prince Harry better than Markle, he said that he is a “huge fan” of both of them. And with regards to the prince, Corden said, “[I have a] huge amount of respect and admiration for Harry, and anyone who has been around him and spent time with him would feel exactly the same way.”

In February of 2021, Corden featured the Duke of Sussex as a guest on The Late Late Show, where the royal revealed everything from Archie's first word to the major realization he had on his second date with Markle that she was “the one.” In one iconic moment, the prince even rapped the opening theme song of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Talk about a star-studded playdate.
