Looks like Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and baby Archie are getting a few more famous neighbors. Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom recently bought a mansion in the same neighborhood of Montecito.
Just months after welcoming their daughter Daisy, the couple has purchased a stunning $14.2 million mansion in the California community. According to Variety (who first reported the news on Tuesday, October 20), C. Robert Kidder, the former CEO of Chrysler and Duracell, previously owned the property and originally listed for nearly $20 million in the spring of 2019. Per the outlet, the estate features a long, oak tree-lined driveway that leads to the main structure—a three-story Mediterranean-style villa that sits on 8.9 acres of land.
Along with the main kitchen, the property also includes an al-fresco dining area as well as a breakfast room (whatever that is). All four bedrooms are located upstairs, including the master suite (which apparently takes up the majority of the top floor). And did we mention there’s also a detached four-car garage?
We’re not surprised by Perry and Bloom’s decision to move to the secluded community, considering their main concern is raising their two-month-old daughter whom they welcomed back in August. And the American Idol alum and her actor husband aren’t the only famous faces in the neighborhood. As we mentioned earlier, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved into their $14.65 million house in Santa Barbara back in July. The community is also home to stars like Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Lopez and Kevin Costner.
