Here’s Why the Latest Sussex Instagram Post Is All About a Bakery

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s latest Instagram post is making us really, really hungry. (You’ve been warned.)

Earlier today, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared a slideshow of photos on social media and paid tribute to their go-to dessert shop, Luminary Bakery.

While their feed typically consists of announcements, event photos and inspirational quotes, Prince Harry and Markle switched things up this time around and honored the East London–based bakery for their dedication to the community. In addition to creating a positive workplace environment, the business prides itself on using baking as a form of therapy.

The royal couple posted a series of photos and wrote, “Today we shine a spotlight on @LuminaryBakery and the amazing women of this inspiring and sustainable grassroots organisation.”

The caption even includes a quote from Markle, explaining what Luminary Bakery means to her.

“What they’ve created at Luminary Bakery is exceptional,” she said in the post. “It’s a space for baking, healing and rebuilding. When I visited the women earlier this year, I was struck by how the baking, itself, is a means of therapy for these women—which in many ways makes complete sense—feeling they had no control over their lives based on their previous (and often harrowing) circumstances, they found comfort in the measured nature of baking.”

Prince Harry and Markle are no strangers to the London bake shop. In fact, Luminary Bakery handcrafted a special cake for the duchess’s 38th birthday celebrations back in August.

Guess there’s only one thing left to do: taste test.
