Just because Prince Harry is sixth in line to the British throne doesn’t mean he’s too cool for social media.
Today, the Duke of Sussex, 35, is taking over National Geographic’s official Instagram account (@NatGeo). Basically, the prince will act as a guest editor and share pictures in honor of his all-new social media campaign, “Looking Up.”
According to a statement released by Buckingham Palace, the program is designed to raise “awareness of the vital role trees play in the earth’s eco-system by sharing your own photos of trees from around the world.”
During his takeover, Prince Harry will share images of indigenous trees and encourage others to follow suit. While we originally thought the pics would be taken by National Geographic photographers, the duke switched things up for his first post and shared a personal photo that he took in Malawi during his ten-day royal tour of Africa.
