There’s no denying that a lot has changed for the British royal family in the last month. And, according to a new poll, apparently, so has the popularity of the members of the royal gang.

The latest poll from YouGov reveals an increase in popularity in Britain for a majority of Queen Elizabeth’s fam including Prince Charles, Prince William, Kate Middleton and Princess Anne. However, the biggest “boost in reputation” since the previous survey was seen for...Prince Edward.

Per the report, the Earl of Wessex “has seen the largest increase in positive opinion, rising from 41 percent of Britons in March to 54 percent. Negative opinion fell from 26 percent to 19 percent.”

Edward is the youngest child of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, putting him at number 12 in the line of succession. The 57-year-old has been one of the lesser-known royals, but he’s been taking on more responsibilities ever since his dad retired from public service in 2019. Prince Edward and his wife, Sophie Rhys-Jones, tied the knot at St George’s Chapel in 1999. They now have two children together, Lady Louise (17) and James, Viscount Severn (18).

Unfortunately, some other royals did not see such an increase in their numbers. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle both experienced a slight decrease in their popularity this month.

We have a feeling we’re going to be seeing a lot more from Prince Edward in the near future.
