Guys, Our Place Has an Oven-Safe Cast Iron Always Pan & We Tested It Out

Remember when Our Place blessed us with an early drop of its newest Cast Iron Always Pan? We don't either because it sold out within 20 minutes. Good news for us: You can finally get your hands on the brand's latest—drum roll, please—OVEN-SAFE skillet.

We've pulled off all sorts of recipes from fried eggs to frittatas with our sleek Always Pan. Not to mention, the Perfect Pot has replaced our stockpot, dutch oven and saucepot. In sum, it's safe to bet that we'll be just as impressed with the Cast Iron Always Pan.

The new pan is basically an upgraded version of the original but with a new glossy finish and more versatility, like the fancy glass lid that's built to trap and release stem while you're whipping up everything from stir-fry to paella. It also comes with silicone Hot Grips for safe handling (so long, oven mitts!). The most exciting part is its black matte enameled cast iron interior, which ensures optimal browning, and the fact that it's oven- and broiler-safe—even the lid.

It's available in most of the existing fan-favorite colors including spice, steam, char, sage, blue salt and lavender. And it has the same integrated spoon rest for nesting the accompanying beechwood spatula.
