The rare show of affection between the stars was adored by many fans. On the official Digital Spy Twitter account, they said, “Jamie Dornan and Andrew Garfield are my BFF goals #Oscars,” while the British Vogue Twitter wrote, “Jamie Dornan and Andrew Garfield’s reunion made everyone swoon.” Users in the comments agreed, like one person who said, “Cuteness overload.” Another added, “These two actors need to make a buddy film together.”
Dornan previously talked about his friendship with Garfield while visiting Live with Kelly and Ryan back in January. During his stop on the talk show, Dornan reflected on his early days as an actor and the house he used to share with a crop of other famous celebs.
“It was like myself and Eddie [Redmayne] and Andrew Garfield, Rob Pattinson, Charlie Cox,” Dornan said. “A load of guys who ended up like doing pretty well, but we weren't doing pretty well at that time. It was a lot of going up for the same auditions, prepping each other, like helping each other out to try to get the same work that we were all vying for.”
Given the fact that Dornan and Garfield were both in attendance at the Oscars, it's clear they've done pretty well for themselves. We're glad to see that their friendship is staying as strong as ever.
