I'm still coping with the fact that Denzel Washington and Jamie Lee Curtis were snubbed by the Academy. But that doesn’t mean I'm not excited for the actual Oscars ceremony. Each major category is stacked with talented A-list actors (like Kieran Culkin and Cynthia Erivo), and quite a few of my favorite films are up for Best Movie, including The Brutalist, I'm Still Here and of course, Wicked.
In honor of the 97th annual awards show, I've created a downloadable and printable Oscar ballot, so you can make your predictions before it begins. (And totally call out Aunt Karen when she tries to change her answers in the middle of the ceremony.)
While there are several strong contenders on the list of 2025 nominees, I've already made a few big predictions. Still, several underdogs could be victorious in some categories and, ultimately, ruin the most researched ballots.
So, will Demi Moore take home her first Oscar trophy for Best Actress for The Substance? Will Fernanda Torres make history as the first Brazilian and Portuguese-speaking actress to win in this category? Will Emilia Pérez—the most nominated film of the year—dominate the night with the most wins? Happy guessing!
