It’s official: the Only Murders in the Building family is expanding, and fans are absolutely freaking out about it. Hulu's hit whodunnit comedy series staring Selena GomezMartin Short and Steve Martin started production for season five in early March and now they’ve dropped some exciting news—another Hollywood star has joined the cast. Considering the show has already featured a slew of incredible guest stars like Meryl Streep, Melissa McCarthy, Cara Delevingne, Jane Lynch, Eva Longoria, Eugene Levy, Paul Rudd and Jesse Williams—to name a few—fans were definitely expecting something big. And they got exactly that.

On March 26, the show took to social media to make the big announcement, posting a photo of a director’s chair with none other than Academy Award-winning actress Renée Zellweger’s name on it. "Welcome to the building, Renée Zellweger," they captioned the photo.

Naturally, fans went wild in the comments.

One person wrote, "You get more and more iconic every season," while another fan posted, "THE RENEE OMG!!!!! So exciting!!!!" Others couldn’t contain their excitement, with one commenting, "STOP ITTT! This show gets better and better!" Another said, "Omg amazing!!" And one fan shared their shock and enthusiasm, writing, "W H A T?! I already adore this show… and now this legend is joining? Love it, love it, love it! Can't wait!" One even quipped, "Whoever made this choice DESERVES A RAISE."

While there’s no word yet on what role Zellweger will play, her addition comes right after the show’s recent SAG Award win for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. The show has also been nominated for both a Primetime Emmy and a Golden Globe.

Looks like Only Murders in the Building is continuing to bring in big names. Welcome to the building, Renée!
