The Next Bachelor Will Be a Familiar Face & Here’s Why

Chris Harrison recently discussed what’s next for The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise, but what about The Bachelor? Well, there’s a good chance that season 25 of the popular dating series will star someone we already know, and it has everything to do with Clare Crawley’s delayed season.

Famed TV blogger Reality Steve recently released a spoiler-packed podcast episode, where he discussed the consequences of postponing Crawley’s season of The Bachelorette due to coronavirus restrictions. Since the show won’t start filming until late summer (at the earliest), it will probably overlap with the upcoming season of The Bachelor, meaning the star will likely be selected from the existing Bachelor Nation pool.

Bachelor filming, we know, starts in September,” he said. “If Clare’s season starts airing in September, and they don’t screw up The Bachelor schedule, and they still film Bachelor from September to the week before Thanksgiving. Well, who’s the Bachelor then?”

Reality Steve went on to explain why the new schedule would disqualify Crawley’s contestants from becoming the Bachelor. “We’ll maybe be an episode—maybe two episodes—in before they start filming The Bachelor,” he added. “They’re not going to give you one of Clare’s guys after one or two episodes. Because then we know he gets far, and we know he doesn’t win.” Valid point.
