ABC just pulled a fast one and named Clare Crawley as the lead of The Bachelorette season 16. In honor of her highly anticipated journey, we’ve rounded up a list of Bachelorette spoilers that every dedicated fan should know going into the groundbreaking season.

According to Reality Steve, season 16 will begin production on Friday, March 13. Crawley will turn 39 on March 20, so we’re expecting there to be some sort of birthday party slash group date.
Similar to past seasons, The Bachelorette will begin in the Bachelor mansion, which is located in Agoura Hills, California. However, Reality Steve confirmed that the show will eventually go on the road. Although we don’t know many details, the famed Bachelor Nation blogger confirmed the cast will travel to Chattanooga, Tennessee, in episode four, followed by an overseas trip to Iceland later on in the season.
Unfortunately, we don’t expect ABC to announce the full cast list any time soon. Still, Reality Steve revealed that 13 men have already been confirmed…but that’s subject to change, since ABC wasn’t expecting to cast an older star. The blogger noted, “They’ve already told a couple of the 25 year olds they’re no longer cast because of the age difference.”
While many fans are praising the network for selecting an “older” Bachelorette, we’re pretty surprised by the contestants’ age range. Yes, it’s a more mature group than past seasons, but ABC has a lot of rearranging to do if they want to put together a suitable cast for Crawley.
“Their ages are 28, 28, 25, 23, 28, 30, 40, 28, 31, 33, 26, 26, 28, and 28,” Reality Steve wrote. (Again, this could change if ABC thinks they’re too young.)
The blogger also confirmed that four of the potential contestants have children, so prepare for loads of baby mama drama.
No spoilers have been revealed about who wins The Bachelorette, considering the show hasn’t started filming yet. Still, we’ll be refreshing Reality Steve’s blog on a weekly basis. (You know, just in case.)
