The Newest Trailer for FX’s ‘Fosse/Verdon’ Just Debuted at the Oscars and We Have the Clip

Were the 91st annual Academy Awards the most exciting to ever air? Probably not. But we did get a peek at some exciting trailers for upcoming movies and TV shows. (Did you catch the one for The Lion King?) And this just in: a new glimpse at FX’s Fosse/Verdon. The limited series will tell the story of entertainment icons and creative partners director-choreographer Bob Fosse and dancer Gwen Verdon.

Based on Sam Wasson’s biography Fosse, the eight-episode series will star Michelle Williams (Verdon) and Sam Rockwell (Fosse) and is set to be released on Tuesday, April 9.

The cast also includes Norbert Leo Butz, Margaret Qualley, Aya Cash and more. The new 30-second clip looks nothing short of intense: car door slamming, black eyes and some seriously killer dance numbers.

Oh, and did we mention it’s executive produced by Lin-Manuel Miranda? Yeah, we have high expectations for this one. (Jazz hands!)
