Meghan Markle has been busy this year—like, seriously booked and thriving. Between launching her lifestyle brand As Ever, kicking off her new podcast Confessions of a Female Founder and seeing her hit Netflix series With Love, Meghan already renewed for season two, the Duchess of Sussex is clearly in her boss era. And according to new reports, she’s not slowing down anytime soon.

The latest buzz? Meghan might be setting her sights on the hospitality industry—think boutique hotels, chic restaurants and cozy luxury stays. According to The Mirror, the former Suits star has been expanding the trademark for her rebranded lifestyle firm, As Ever, with filings that now include “hospitality services,” “temporary lodging” and the “provision of food and drink.”

It’s only a matter of time before we find out if it’s true, but honestly, it wouldn’t be a shock. Meghan’s whole vibe—with As Ever and her Netflix show—is rooted in entertaining, lifestyle and creating beautiful spaces. A move into the hospitality world feels like a natural next step.

In fact, the idea of building something for future generations seems to be top of mind for her. On a recent episode of Confessions of a Female Founder, Meghan chatted with Tina Knowles (yes, Beyoncé’s mom) about the possibility of launching a business one day with her daughter, Princess Lilibet. She asked Tina for her best advice on working with family.

“There are difficulties sometimes… you have disagreements,” Knowles said. “But I’m the one that always caves. I’ve been like that since I was young. If my kids are mad at me, I can’t take it, so I’ll apologize.”

Whether Meghan’s next venture is a podcast empire, a boutique hotel or a cozy café somewhere in Montecito, one thing’s for sure: the world is watching… and some of us (AKA me) are cheering her on.
