Meghan Markle Releases Striking Birthday Photo with a Rare Mention of Husband Harry

Meghan Markle may be private when it comes to her personal life, but every so often, she gives us an interesting glimpse into her life as a wife and mother. 

The latest example? A rare mention of husband Prince Harry in a striking Instagram post made in celebration of her 44th birthday on Tuesday. The post, which featured Meghan blowing out the candles on her birthday cake, was captioned: “Blowing out the candles on a beautiful 24 hours, and thanking my husband, friends and family for making it so special. To those of you I don’t know, but who send love every day - thank you so much. Please know I feel it and appreciate it.”

She continued: “And just to get a little foodie on you….this dinner last night at @funke_la with the culinary mastery of @evanfunke and his team is in the top five meals of my life. Extraordinary. Thank you for a standout dining experience.” 

The celebration didn’t stop there, as her lifestyle brand, As Ever, posted a birthday tribute of their own, which featured a black-and-white photo of Meghan walking through a sun-drenched field in a dress and hat with the caption, “Celebrating the woman behind it all. She pours her heart, vision & magic touch into every detail, and today, we raise a glass to her! Happy birthday to our founder.” Meghan certainly received a lot of love on her birthday, and her IG post is a continuation of the sneak peeks she has provided fans of her family life this year.
