In a world with literally billions of people, it’s not exactly shocking when two people come up with similar ideas. Great minds think alike, right? But when Meghan Markle’s Netflix show With Love, Meghan dropped, the internet couldn’t help but notice it looked kinda familiar. Some viewers even suggested it was a copycat of Pamela Anderson’s plant-based cooking series, Pamela’s Cooking With Love. Yes, really. Now, months later, Pamela is finally addressing the rumors and spoiler alert: she’s not mad about it.

The Naked Gun star, 58, popped by Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live on Sunday, August 3, alongside rumored boyfriend Liam Neeson (which, hello? That’s a whole other story). Naturally, Andy brought up the Meghan comparisons.

“On a scale from 1 to 10, how much of a rip off did you feel like With Love, Meghan was of your show, Pamela’s Cooking With Love?” Cohen asked.

Pamela, looking completely unbothered, replied simply, “1,” before adding, “I didn’t.”

When pressed further on whether she saw any similarities between the two shows, she stated, “I didn’t really look. I didn’t invent cooking shows.” (Fair point.) “So, I mean… she’s just doing her thing,” she noted.

ICYMI, Meghan’s show premiered back in March and quickly sparked comparisons due to its cozy, home-entertaining vibe. The series is basically a how-to for hosting, complete with celeb cameos and aesthetic inspo. Meanwhile, Pamela’s version—filmed in the summer of 2023 and released earlier this year—features the Baywatch alum teaming up with top chefs to whip up plant-based meals in her serene Vancouver Island kitchen.

Despite the drama, With Love, Meghan was a hit. So much so that Netflix green-lit a second season almost immediately, set to premiere this fall. Meghan shared the news on Instagram, writing, “Oh, how I love ASMR! If you’re loving Season 1, just wait until you see the fun we cooked up on Season 2!”

No feud here—just two women doing their thing, in their kitchens, with a camera crew.
