These Virgin River stars really know how to get us amped for season 5. It was only a couple days ago that Martin Henderson (AKA Jack Sheridan) gave fans a big update, saying, “Virgin River season five [is] coming out, I think, probably in July. So, not long now, a few months...Another installment of hot, steamy gossip and intrigue on the river.” Now, the 48-year-old actor is giving us another teaser.

The New Zealand-born star posted a selfie to Instagram, writing, “Back in the studio doing some post production work for season 5 of #virginriver. Excited for you all to see this...”

In the snap, Henderson is seen standing in a studio with large headphones on, and in the background, we can see a still from season 5 featuring his co-star, Alexandra Breckenridge (who plays Mel Monroe).

Fans showed their excitement in the comments, like one user who wrote, “Look at our two favs.” Another commented, “Can't wait for season 5.”

This isn't the first time Henderson has given followers a look behind the scenes. For almost a year now, the Grey's Anatomy alum has posted pics and videos walking fans through the filming process.

Back in July 2022, right around the time season 4 premiered, Henderson posted a different selfie to his account. “Jack’s back! Day 1 of shooting #virginriver Season 5,” he wrote. “Feels good to slip back into Jack’s boots.”

As of now, Netflix has not provided a release date for season 5 of Virgin River, but Breckenridge also predicted it would premiere in July 2023 during a recent Cameo clip. “The fifth season that’ll come out probably, I don’t know, maybe July again?” she said. “I’m not sure, nobody’s really updated me!”

We'll be keeping our fingers crossed.
