This Is Us star Mandy Moore just introduced a brand-new “The Big Three”…but it’s not what you think.
This week, the 37-year-old actress teased last night’s episode of This Is Us, which featured Rebecca (Moore), Miguel (Jon Huertas) and Nicky (Griffin Dunne) embarking on a road trip to find Nicky’s long-lost love. Although The Big Three nickname typically refers to Kate (Chrissy Metz), Kevin (Justin Hartley) and Randall (Sterling K. Brown), Moore joked about how the moniker has been passed down.
The slideshow features two photos, along with a trailer detailing what’s the come. While the first image features Rebecca, Miguel and Nicky (AKA The Big Three), the second one is a solo shot of Moore’s character.
The caption read, “Introducing the new #BigThree!!! Join us tonight as we hit the road in a quest to find Sally! [red car emoji] #ThisIsUs.”
The sixth—and final—season of This Is Us premiered earlier this month. Ahead of the first episode, Moore shared a slideshow on Instagram that featured rare behind-the-scenes photos of the cast. The post included six different pics, all of which were taken on the first day of filming each season of This Is Us.
“Looking back at my first days on set of every season of #ThisIsUs,” she wrote. “Love that it’s always with @miloanthonyventimiglia (plus a cameo with @sterlingkbrown)!!” Moore wrote. “Gonna miss these days with the fam when it’s all over, but for now, we get to come together (virtually of course) and watch the premiere ep tonight!!!”
