True-crime fans ought to start counting down the days until Netflix’s upcoming movie, The Tinder Swindler.

The streaming service just released the first official trailer for the must-watch documentary, which was created by the masterminds behind Don’t F**k with Cats.

The trailer introduces viewers to Shimon Hayut (AKA The Tinder Swindler), a convicted conman who used the dating app to trick women into “lending” him money. After meeting someone online, Hayut would shower his date with lavish trips and vacations. Once he gained their trust, Hayut would ask them for money and then vanish.

“You can find a bit of everything on Tinder,” someone says in the clip. “But one little swipe can change your life.”

The Tinder Swindler offers a platform for the victims to tell their truth. The video offers a gut-wrenching look at their eerily similar stories, all of which lead to the same conclusion.

“That’s when the police tell me the man I loved was never real,” someone adds.

Netflix’s official synopsis reads, “Posing as a wealthy, jet-setting diamond mogul, he wooed women online then conned them out of millions of dollars. Now some victims plan for payback.”

Revenge never sounded so good. The Tinder Swindler will hit Netflix on February 2.
