Mandy Moore (Rebecca) and Chrissy Metz (Kate) are taking a walk down memory lane in honor of the sixth—and final—season of This Is Us.
To commemorate the show’s highly anticipated premiere, both actresses shared slideshows on Instagram that feature rare behind-the-scenes photos of the cast. Moore kicked things off by posting six different pics, all of which were taken on the first day of filming each season of This Is Us.
While it begins with a selfie of Moore and Milo Ventimiglia (Jack), it also includes never-before-seen pics of the cast when cameras weren’t rolling. “Looking back at my first days on set of every season of #ThisIsUs,” she wrote. “Love that it’s always with @miloanthonyventimiglia (plus a cameo with @sterlingkbrown)!!”
Moore continued, “Gonna miss these days with the fam when it’s all over, but for now, we get to come together (virtually of course) and watch the premiere ep tonight!!!”
Metz also shared a collection of BTS photos on her personal Instagram account (see below). The caption read, “Got the big three emotions while taking a trip down memory lane of some of my favorite memories… can’t believe the #ThisIsUsFinalChapter premieres tonight. Love you all @nbcthisisus #thisisus.”
The posts were in response to the season six premiere of This Is Us, which aired on NBC last night. The new episodes will address all your burning questions—for example, what does the future hold for Rebecca? Will Nicky (Griffin Dunne) find his long-lost love? And will Deja (Lyric Ross) move to Boston to be closer to Malik (Asante Blackk)?
