King Charles and Queen Camilla Just Dropped Their 2025 Christmas Card—and I Noticed Something Super Strange

I guess everybody has a "good side"

Just when all the royal headlines were about Kate Middleton (and her new hair) and husband Prince William, Buckingham Palace went and stole the spotlight right back. Enter: a 2025 Christmas card from King Charles and Queen Camilla.

This weekend, the monarch and his beloved released a brand-new holiday card featuring a festive message and a sweet photo. The card's inscription reads, "Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year."

The card, which was shared on social media, came with the caption, "It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! The King and Queen are pleased to share this year’s Christmas card, featuring a photograph taken in the grounds of Villa Wolkonsky in Rome during Their Majesties’ State Visit to The Republic of Italy in April."

And while I was happy to see the pair looking so, well, happy, I couldn't help but feel a sense of déjà vu... that message and that photo seemed a bit familiar.

Jump back to December 2024...

Last year, the king and queen shared a Christmas card with an identical message. And they are both standing in the exact same positions, with King Charles on his wife's right.

But then I remembered 2023...

Huh. Same message and same positions (Camilla standing to her husband's left).

Wait...what about 2022...?

Though the crop is slightly different, the message and the positioning remain the same. Maybe the king just has a good side and knows how to work the camera? Maybe it's just a royal coincidence? I'm leaning towards the former, but I guess we'll have to wait until 2026 to see if the trend continues.
