Um, Kim Cattrall Clearly Has Some *Thoughts* on Her Absence from ‘And Just Like That’

While we're still lamenting the absence of Samantha (Kim Cattrall) on the new Sex and the City revival, And Just Like That..., the 65-year-old actress has remained relatively quiet on the matter.

However, thanks to some sharp eyes over at Page Six, we learned that Cattrall has been liking tweets from fans who have been giving their takes on the new HBO Max series. Many fans are showing their love for Cattrall and missing her presence on the reboot.

One tweet was from user @getmebadges on December 6, who said, “@KimCattrall I am such a fan. With the #SATC reboot happening, they keep bringing you up. I applaud you for making choices that are right for you. You are not required to do anything you don’t want to do or that won’t make you happy. Looking forward to you on #QAF happy holidays!”

This user was referencing the fact that Cattrall will star in a different reboot—Queer as Folkwhich has not been given a release date yet. Along with this Peacock series, Cattrall will also star in the How I Met Your Father spin-off, which is set to arrive in 2022.

Cattrall liked another tweet from reporter Joe Flint, which said, “Sometimes eras ending are good things.” She also liked one from news anchor Jenny Dreasler, which said: “And just like that… I find myself only wanting to watch anything @KimCattrall is in. This is a Kim appreciation tweet.”

The actress even liked a tweet from @alexjae1 that jokingly said, “Kim Cattrall didn’t return to SATC because her scatting career is finally taking off.”

While we're missing Cattrall on And Just Like That, we're glad to see that she's got exciting projects in the works and she's feeling the love from her fans.

Everything from the absence of Samantha to that shocking series premiere is discussed on Gallery Media Group and PureWow's new podcast, And Just Like That...A Sex And The City Reboot Podcast, hosted by PureWow's own VP for News and Entertainment, Philip Mutz, and our Executive Editor, Dara Katz. Each week, these two “digest, extract and react to the newest episode” just like any Sex and the City die-hard fans would.

While we wait for the next episode, we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for any more likes from Cattrall on Twitter.
