Kerry Washington Gave Us a Sneak Peek of New Netflix Movie ‘School for Good & Evil’ & She Looks Absolutely Regal

Filming for Paul Feig’s Netflix adaptation of The School for Good and Evil is officially underway. Lucky for us, Kerry Washington is giving fans a first look at her character, Professor Clarissa Dovey, aka the Dean of Good.

Earlier this week, the 44-year-old actress shared an official portrait of herself on the set of the upcoming Netflix film. In the photo, we see Washington looking regal in gold. We’re talking about a stunning gown, endless jewels and a matching crown. If we’re being totally honest, we’re getting major Bridgerton vibes. “More GOODness to come,” she captioned the post, alongside an angel emoji.

And we weren’t the only ones who were super impressed by her costume. The post received over 14 thousand likes and 177 comments. In fact, fellow actress Debrah Messing was even blown away by the shot, writing, “What you were BORN to wear!” Another user added, “This project is so lucky to have you. thank you thank you thank you. you capture her perfectly.”

The film is based on the best-selling series of books by Soman Chainani. The film, slated for a 2022 release, will be a fantasy adventure that puts a whole new spin on classics like Cinderella. The story centers around two students, Sophie and Agatha, who claim to know their rightful paths in a world where students train to become fairytale heroes or villains. However, Sophie and Agatha's futures are thrown into question when each finds herself at the wrong school. In the description for the book series, Chainani writes, "The School for Good and Evil is an epic journey into a dazzling new world, where the only way out of a fairy tale is to live through one."

We can’t wait for this one.
