There is a lot to talk about in terms of today’s episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan. Not only was Kelly Ripa joined by a surprise guest (her son, Michael Consuelos), but she also wore an eye-catching red top.
Today, producers shared their daily behind-the-scenes video on the show’s official Instagram account, which featured Ripa’s casual—yet festive—outfit.
In the video, announcer Deja Vu introduces Ripa and her co-host, Ryan Seacrest, who make their way to their seats. (Of course, Seacrest is a gentleman and pulls out the actress’s chair for her.) Ripa is wearing a flattering red blouse, which features a button-down front, long sleeves and collared neckline. She’s also donning a pair of casual flare jeans and pumps (natch).
The caption read, “We’re live now! Michael Consuelos is a guest today!” Unfortunately, the Riverdale star doesn’t make an appearance in the video.
Fans immediately filled the comments section with well-wishes for Ripa and Seacrest. One person wrote, “She is so darn cute.” Another added, “Good morning all [coffee cup emoji]!” Someone even said what we’re all thinking: “Power couple!”
The BTS post comes just one day after Ripa wore a pair of bright orange heels on Live. During the episode, the talk show host donned one of her go-to dresses by Isabel Marant, which features a black-and-white zig-zag pattern. She accessorized the look with a matching belt and bright orange heels. The caption read, “Tune in now…we’re live!”
One thing’s for sure: Ripa’s fashion never disappoints.
