Kelly Ripa Is a New Magazine Cover Star But Her Red Dress Steals the Show

It's been quite the exciting month for Kelly Ripa. Not only is the Live with Kelly and Ryan host releasing her first-ever memoir (and embarking on a small tour of the U.S. to promote it), but now, she's the cover star of this month's edition of Haute Living.

Ripa shared the exciting news on her Instagram account, where she said, “A shameless plug inside a shameless plug for my forthcoming book: Live Wire! Long-Winded, Short Stories. Courtesy of Haute Living’s September issue. Thank you @hauteliving !”

On the cover, Ripa is seated on a turquoise-colored couch, and according to her tags, the shoot was done at the Carlyle hotel in New York, with the photos snapped by Miller Mobley.

However, despite the glamour of the photo, it was the Live host's dress that truly caught our attention. Ripa was styled by Audrey Slater-Spiegel in a gorgeous ruby-colored minidress from Jason Wu. The Rosette Ruffle Crinkle Silk Chiffon design was pulled from the Jason Wu Collection (though, sadly it's sold out online).

Meanwhile, Ripa's makeup was done by Kristofer Buckle, while her hair was styled by Ryan Trygstad.

Of course, fellow celebs showed their excitement for Ripa, like Lisa Rinna, who posted a series of heart emojis in the comments. Meanwhile, Ripa's husband, Mark Consuelos, called her “Gorgeous” and added a fire emoji.

This Haute Living cover story is just the latest move by Ripa to promote her new book. She recently posted a snap to her Instagram (included above) where she was seen signing books, and she wrote, “T-minus less than a month before Live Wire drops. If you like long winded short stories, and I know you do, head to the link in bio to preorder a signed edition. Maybe you’ll get the one in this photo! Just kidding, that’s for my mom.”

In just a couple weeks, Ripa will be heading off on her Live Wire book tour, where she will make pit stops in five different states.

She'll begin at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, New Jersey on September 28, where she will be joined by Consuelos. She will then stop at the Symphony Space in New York City on September 29 with Anderson Cooper, followed by a visit to the Theatre at Westbury in Long Island on September 30 with Bethenny Frankel.

Also, she recently added stops at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor, Michigan on October 7 (with Consuelos), the Athenaeum Center for Thought & Culture in Chicago, Illinois on October 8 (with Jerry O'Connell) and the Kentucky Center in Louisville, Kentucky on October 9 (with Justin Sylvester).

We couldn't be more hyped for this book (and now we've got a magazine to go pick up too!).
