Kelly Ripa Looked Different on ‘Live’ This Week...

Kelly Ripa is rocking a new look these days, and we have to say we're into it.

On Friday’s episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan, the 50-year-old TV personality looked chic in a Selena Zebra-Strip Brown wrap midi dress from ba&sh. The dress featured puff sleeves, a ruffled hem, a v-neckline and a wrap closure. She topped off her look with a pair of metallic gold, pointed-toe heels and layered chains around her neck as well.

And while we love to see the show’s co-host rocking one of our favorite animal prints, it was one accessory in particular that caught our attention: a pair of black reading glasses.

Lucky for us, the morning show’s producers shared a behind-the-scenes clip of Ripa talking about her eyesight and accompanying pair of specs. In the video, she could be heard joking about her eyewear, stating she’s been happier not wearing her glasses so she doesn’t have to see what’s been going on.

“Who knew you were so gorgeous? I did not know,” she quipped while speaking to a member of her staff. “I’ve been happy not wearing them [her glasses]. It’s happier just not to see what's happening to me personally.”

It wasn’t long before the comments section filled up with questions and kind words about the black-framed-glasses .“I didn’t know Kelly wore glasses,” one follower wrote, while another added, “Love the glasses.”

However, it looks like Ripa went back to her contacts this week because on Monday’s episode her glasses were MIA.
