Kelly Ripa is still trying to get into the swing of things when it comes to getting back to work on the set of Live with Kelly and Ryan. Especially when it comes to her outfits.
On Monday, the 49-year-old star returned to the show’s stage for the second week in a row. As usual, the program’s producers shared Ripa’s morning walk (and in today’s case, a twirl) to the set to begin filming the morning show. The mother of three looked chic in a brown paisley print shirt dress from Michael Kors.
However, it wasn’t long until we learned that this wasn’t the first time the co-host opted for this ensemble. In fact, she wore it last week (on Friday, to be exact) and completely forgot. Yup, while filming, Ripa must have noticed her fashion faux pas and made a quick outfit change during a commercial break.
Lucky for us, the producers made sure to capture that in an Instagram Story as well. “Kelly didn't realize she was wearing the same dress she wore last week...until she was on the air,” they captioned the post. A classic case of Monday brain and we totally understand.
We don’t blame her for wanting to wear the dress in question again (even if it was a subconscious decision), the silk, crepe de chine shirt dress looks stunning on her.
