It wasn’t long before Ripa shared her thoughts in the comments section. “Lola just ordered that sweater...” the All My Children alum wrote referencing her 19-year-old daughter, Lola Consuelos. Of course, Seacrest didn’t let things stop there. He had his own clever response to his Live co-host, commenting, “this must mean I’m on trend.” He’s not wrong, since tie-dye is super popular right now.
And while the back-and-forth was all in good fun, Seacrest should actually take the comments as a compliment, considering Ripa has confessed to often stealing things from her daughter’s closet.
Back in April, the TV show host revealed that she had been dipping into Lola’s closet for new outfits to wear while filming the talk show from home. During one segment, she specifically stated that the white blazer and graphic T-shirt she was wearing was not her own. “I’m now in my daughter’s clothes,” Ripa said. “It’s gone there.”
Don’t worry, Ryan. Kelly will probably be asking you to borrow the sweater soon enough.
