Kate Middleton Re-Wears Blue Polka Dot Dress During Surprise Wimbledon Appearance

Just because Kate Middleton is a future queen consort doesn’t mean she’s too cool to recycle her wardrobe.

Today, the Duchess of Cambridge, 40, visited the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club for the 2022 Wimbledon tennis tournament. While there, Middleton watched the first day of quarter finals alongside her husband, Prince William. It didn’t take long for us to notice that the duchess re-wore one of her go-to dresses.

Middleton donned the Polka Dot Midi Dress by one of her favorite designers, Alessandra Rich. The gown features a high neckline, puffy sleeves and a belted waist. Unfortunately, the dress is currently sold out online. While it typically retails for about $1,800, it was on sale for $540, which is why it flew off the shelves.

The duchess was also sporting a bow pinned to her dress. The dark green and purple color scheme is a subtle nod to the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, where she serves as a royal patron.

If the outfit looks familiar, you should know that this isn’t the first time that Middleton has worn the garment. Last month, the Duchess of Cambridge attended a luncheon ahead of the Platinum Pageant and wore the same dress. At the time, she accessorized with similar pieces, including white pumps and pearl-drop earrings.

One thing’s for sure: Blue is Middleton’s color.
