Kaley Cuoco Hinted She Had a Red Carpet Emergency at the Emmys (& We're Dying to Know More)

At the 73rd annual Emmy Awards, actress Kaley Cuoco received her first ever nomination thanks to her leading role in the HBO Max series The Flight Attendant. But besides being one of the nominees, Cuoco stole the show on the red carpet, where she wore a neon chartreuse dress from Vera Wang.

The luminescent gown featured a middle slit down the skirt, a heart-shaped bodice and spaghetti straps decorated with floral frills. The Big Bang Theory actress's outfit was paired with some matching heels from Le Silla and stunning silver jewelry loaned from De Beers.

“Thank you @verawang @verawanggang for this one of a kind neon dream Emmy dress,” she said on Instagram. “This dress brought me tears when I first put it on… it was everything!”

However, it turns out that on the night of the Emmys, Cuoco dealt with some sort of fashion emergency, which she alluded to in a mysterious Instagram Story. Cuoco posted a photo with her stylist, Brad Goreski, and said, “I love you @bradgoreski! You saved the day during our red carpet emergency. I will be telling that story very soon!”

Later in the evening, Cuoco switched up her outfit when she took off her heels and slipped into more comfortable footwear, courtesy of Athletic Propulsion Labs. She showed these sneakers off in another Instagram post, saying, “Thank you @apl for the most perfectly matched late night sneaker a girl could ask for!!”
